Southeast University Toronto Alumni Association Alumni Gathering Event and 2018 Board of Directors Expanded Meeting
On October 21, 2018, Southeast University’s Toronto Alumni Association Alumni Dinner and 2018 Board of Directors Expanded Conference were held at the Richmond Hill, Toronto, grain and grain restaurant. On the evening of the 21st, 19 alumni (including family members) came together to replace the wine with tea and remember the sweetness. A simple and unpretentious dish is very exciting, and the southeasters complement each other with a stable and realistic temperament.
The dishes have been five flavors, the cup is stopped, chaired by the new Alumni Association President Mr. Li Yongtao, and the 2018 Southeast University Toronto Alumni Association Council Expanded Meeting was held in a relaxed and happy atmosphere. At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Jin Yuan, former president of the Alumni Association, and Ms. Fu Yan, former Secretary-General, spoke separately, summarizing the history of the Alumni Association and the development of the Alumni Association, summarizing the achievements and experiences of the past year, and putting forward ardent hopes for the next Alumni Association, and wishing the Alumni Association the better. Mr. Li Yongtao followed the speeches of the two former cadres and gave a detailed explanation of the organizational structure and work plan of the new Alumni Association. The new Council is composed of the President, Vice-President, the Secretary-General and three functional departments: the Ministry of Logistics/Finance, the Propaganda Department, and the Special Sports and Recreational Activities Department. The functions of the key members of the Alumni Association will be listed at the end of the article. The President stressed that the current Alumni Association Board will focus on the development of cultural and sports activities. The construction of each special activity department will be the focus of work. Board members are to serve and support and promote the competition activities of the various sports groups. For now, the third Toronto Nanjing University 2019 Spring Festival and New Year Festival is in the process of intensive preparation. At present, the program proposed by Southeast University is fan dance (led by Fu Yan, members are to be determined), choir (storage, members to be determined), and the original South Art Troupe program (programs are to be determined, members are to be determined). President Li Yongtao called on all alumni who have talents and interests to actively participate, do not hesitate to contribute, and contribute ideas and suggestions. At this meeting of the Council’s expansion, the leading backbone of each special activity department has been determined, and the prototype of the team has gradually formed, but the table tennis team has not yet been led by a minister. I hope that the students will register and take up the heavy responsibility.
Happy times are always in a hurry. The East Coast University Toronto Alumni Association Alumni Association Alumni Dinner and 2018 Board of Directors Expansion Conference are unknowingly coming to an end. This event provides an opportunity for the participating alumni to meet old friends and new knowledge, and also determines the members, functions and future work directions of the new Alumni Association Council. Finally, the alumni said goodbye, with the desire to do the better for the alumni association, look forward to the next reunion!
