On June 8, 2024, under the active initiative and promotion of George Yun, a class 89 alumnus of Southeast University, the Chess Center of the Toronto Alumni Association of Southeast University was officially established to build a warm and friendly communication platform for alumni, families and children in the Greater Toronto Area. With card friends, skills, contact feelings, and enhance friendship.
Over the past year, the Chess Center has organized and participated in a number of shooting events in the Greater Toronto Area, and the alumni of the University have cooperated with each other in the competition, fought bravely, achieved excellent results, and won the praise of fraternal universities. At the same time, the regular activities organized by the center also allow alumni to find a sense of belonging in foreign countries and enhance their understanding and friendship between them.
The chess center has now become a warm corner for alumni to gather on weekends and relax, and it is also an important link for new and old alumni to connect and integrate into the community. On this anniversary, we have produced a special commemorative video to record the wonderful and precious journey of the year. Thank you to every student and family member who participated in and supported the Chess Center.
In the future, we will continue to use the card as a medium to unite alumni friendship, serve the alumni community, and build a closer and more vibrant network of Southeast University Toronto alumni.
