The 7th annual Canadian (Toronto) Chinese College Table Tennis Competition ended successfully. The three-day event attracted more than 80 teams and more than 800 players from 100 universities. This year, our school sent two teams to participate in the competition between Group A and Group B, and finally won the 18th place in Group B and 12th in Group B.
Although this achievement failed to break through the previous years, we gained more valuable wealth: the sacrifices and efforts made by the players for the honor of Southeast University, a team in the group game, the Li Keqi brigade Xi’an Jiaotong University and Peking University, the second team showed a dazzling performance in the group game, the new force continues to join the unlimited potential of young players, and the encouragement and support of alumni – the purchase of drinks, meals, shouting and helping, all embodies a deep friendship.
Thank you to everyone who gave to the team, and thank every alumnus who came to the scene. It is believed that in the next year, through continuous accumulation and tempering, the Toronto Alumni Association of Southeast University table tennis team will return to the game with a stronger attitude. Let us continue to work together to fight for the honor of our alma mater!
